Exceptional Product for the Price

Since budget was tight and we needed to replace our Motorola CP200 radios, I had to find suitable radios which could equal the CP200. Saw the Motorola Talkabout MH230R and was skepticle. Almost like the kind I had as a kid. Bought a set to try and handed them out to our security staff to test. The only improvement they recommend is the belt clip - didnt appear strong, but no problems in the field. Tested in a industrial setting starting from a basement boiler room and the team went to all 3 levels of the building and to the far end of a large parking lot without static. Even dropped one a few times at chest level on concrete - no breaks or damage to electronics. The rechargeable batteries a plus as is the NOAA weather radio feature. Clear, crisp communication. Bought 6 more sets. Smart purchase!
