Solid but useless in today's world

The CT-12 is a solid product (offers nice improvements over its predecessor CT-10) BUT it unusable in most environments. The reason is that it interferes directly with any 802.11b/g network that you might have. I am not sure what the Plantronics guys were thinking when they chose the 2.4 GHz band for this phone but it is clear that they did not think all the way through. How many people who are going to use a cordless phone will not also have a WiFi network? It seems that I have thrown $100 away on a nice piece of equipment I will never be ablew to use.
