Ultratec Cell Phone TTY Compact/C

The Compact/C TTY is excellent for travel. It actually folds in half and snaps shut in its own self-contained, hard plastic case. The Compact/C is even more convenient because it is compatible with select digital cellular phones (phone not included).

The availability of TTY-compatible digital cell phones and TTY-compatible digital wireless networks are still limited but are expected to increase throughout the year. Please check your wireless network provider or cell phone manufacturer before buying. It is important that the cell phone you use is TTY-compatible.

The Compact/C has a different TTY-to-cell phone cable that connects to the "hands-free" jack in compatible digital cellular phones. There is also additional memory (32K vs. 8K in the old Compact/C) to store phone numbers, memos and conversations.
